Academic Leadership in Teaching and Learning

What capabilities and qualities are required for leadership? This interactive course will challenge your concept of what leadership is, and explore how you can manage yourself better in difficult/challenging situations.

  • This program will enable you to:
    • identify your current leadership strengths
    • develop a more systematic, purposeful and mindful approach to developing your leadership skills and qualities.
  • The modules focus on:
    • your skills in self-leadership – fundamental for handling yourself well in challenging situations and for staying aligned to your values and purpose
    • how to influence others in the service of collective goals – and particularly skills for successfully navigating challenging conversations.
